Our Story
Brian Walton founded Walton Endurance in 2012 with a vision to make world-class coaching accessible to athletes of all ability levels. His success in taking average athletes and propelling them to the highest level in their sport has been extraordinary.
Walton Endurance entered the corporate wellness arena in 2013 when they led and coached four Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) employees and a staff in the Race Across America. The team far exceeded their expectations, finishing 3rd in their category and winning the Unstoppable Award.
It was such a powerful, life-changing event for everyone involved that BMS leadership, together with Walton Endurance, created a corporate-wide bicycling challenge which they launched the following year. They incorporated a fund-raising element and in the first year, raised more than $1 million for cancer research.
Since that successful inaugural ride, the challenge has become an annual event and includes rides in the U.S., Europe, Asia and South America, taking more than 2,500 BMS employees from across the organization on journeys of a lifetime.
